DOGECOIN Adoption is on the Rise! The Shiba Inu-represented cryptocurrency has captured the imagination of the crypto-buying public and has even surpassed the vastly larger bitcoin as the most mentioned cryptocurrency on Twitter.
This past Tuesday another major company announced they have adopted Dogecoin. A tweet by ATM provider CoinFlip, DOGE can now be purchased with cash across its network, as the company makes the most of DOGE’s surging popularity.
“CoinFlip has always been about the small business and retail customers, and with recent events, dogecoin has paradigm-shifted itself into more than just a meme coin, it has become a symbol of the small league investors,” a spokesperson for CoinFlip told CoinDesk via email.
CoinFlip ATMs already offer customers access to bitcoin, litecoin, ether, dash, komodo, chainlink, stellar and tron. The firm’s network has rapidly expanded from around 451 machines in February 2020 to around 1,800 today. The company said it intends to grow that number to over 4,000 by year’s end.
